RPIBI is an independent firm of insurance brokers and benefit consultants. We are a privately owned firm and represent most insurance companies licensed in Canada. We are located in Calgary, Alberta and are recognized in the industry as a strong organization based on value and service. RPIBI has two roles. The main role is supplying insurance agents with the product portfolio that their clients require. We are able to design and implement the product that the client needs. The secondary role of RPIBI is to provide similar services to the client. These services also include group benefits (i.e. Life, Health, Disability, and Dental Insurance), RRSP's, Third Party Administration, Health Spending Accounts and Individual Life and Health Insurance products.*
When a client expresses an interest in a certain type of insurance or annuity, their personal data is processed through our computer application containing information on offerings from most suppliers of that product. At RPIBI we recommend only the supplier offering the best terms for your personal situation.

Rodney Pimm, RHU, EPC - President
Rod began his insurance career over 25 years ago as a sales representative before quickly moving into various management positions, including Branch Manager and Brokerage Manager for a major insurance company. In 1996, Rod started his own company, Rodney Pimm Insurance Benefits Inc.(RPIBI) providing comprehensive executive planning for self-employed individuals and executives across Western Canada. Rod oversees various agents across Western Canada in providing disability management and health and dental benefits for self-employed individuals. Rod has a dynamic personality and is continually sought out as a speaker by insurers, associations and employee groups for Living Benefits and management expertise.
Gloria Jones, CFP, CLU, RHU - Retirement and Estate Planning Specialist
Gloria’s extensive education and many years of experience in the financial and natural resource industries combined with her innovative, deliberate approach ensures that her clients receive unique custom-designed solutions. Gloria’s experience has been acquired through her positions as Manager of Human Resources, Industrial HR Consultant, Estate Planning Specialist and Wealth and Estate Planning Counselor. Operating her own business since 1983 has increased Gloria’s understanding of what it takes to run a business and to remain competitive and aware of the rapid changes occurring in our world today. Gloria’s services focus on group pension plan development and analysis and estate/retirement planning and severance package analysis for individuals. She also specializes in tax effective executive compensation considered on both the employer and employee side, and provides expert advice on RCAs, IRPs, IPPs, and SERPs,
Tracy Royer – Head of Service and Customer Department
Tracy has been with our firm supporting the administration with the cliental in all areas. Tracy also oversees the full operation with the other associates in correspondence and customer service. Tracys positive attitude and hard work make her a valuable asset to RPIBI.
Angela Pimm – New Business Administrator
Angela has a great deal of experience in the insurance industry and has assumed the challenge of managing the Health and Welfare Trust and Cost Plus accounts, and our agency.
Angela started with Liberty Health specializing in customer service and assisting contracted agents across Alberta, she then moved on to an MGA brokerage and looked after the Individual Insurance division supporting their 110 agents.
Two and a half years ago Angela began with RPIBI and has since then spent the majority of her time doing the accounting for our company and servicing the Trusts such as our Health Spending Accounts and Cost Plus Accounts.
Chad Andrew Pimm - Benefit Specialist / Financial Planner
Chad joined the Financial industry in 01' doing administration, claims adjudacation and customer service both for RPIBI and HPM Financial. His knowlege of claim process and love for customer relations has been applyed both in his works as administration and now in his new role as Benefit Specialist and Financial Planner.
